Kaikoma-ga-take]Mount Kaikoma (甲斐駒ヶ岳, Kaikoma-ga-take) is One of japan's 100 famous mountains and One of Yamanashi's 100 famous mountains. It is also the most magnificent mountain in the Southern Alps.

The route from the trailhead on the Yamanashi side is one of Japan's three major rapid climbs.
There is also a trailhead that can be reached in 30 minutes by car from the Nagasaka IC on the Chuo Expressway.
